I am a lover of all things art.

I was unable to take a formal art class until my senior year in high school which is much too late if you need a portfolio to apply to a great art school. In fact my FIRST and only museum trip before I was an adult took place on March 18, 1990 – our American Studies class was scheduled to visit the Gardner Museum and were rerouted to the Museum of Fine Arts. Those familiar with the Gardner Heist know that is the date the two men broke into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and committed the largest art heist in history.

The fact that I missed seeing Rembrandt’s The Storm on the Sea of Galilee by just hours made me realize that I wanted to experience all of the world’s great masterpieces and if possible visit where they were created and walk in the footsteps of the great masters. My travel is fueled my passion for art.

And so began my restless art syndrome…
